Angkor Wat, in its beauty and state of preservation, is unrivaled. Angkor Wat is located about six kilometers (four miles) north of Siem Reap, south of Angkor Thom. Entry and exit to Angkor Wat can only be access from its west gate.
The monuments of Angkor are one of South East Asia's historical highlights and shouldn't be missed by tourists traveling in Cambodia. The sanctuaries represent the national pride of the Khmers and were listed in 1992 as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO. Built between the 9th and 14th centuries with extraordinary creativity, the temples belong doubtless to one of the world’s architectural wonders.
DAY 01: Arrival Siem Reap ( L D )
Upon arrival Siem Reap meet by our representative and transfer to check in hotel. Tour start visit WatThmey (Killing Field), Then stop at the WAR MEMORIAL MONUMENT. After lunch, continues Visit “Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone-carving and wood-sculpting. Dinner at local restaurant with “Apsara” traditional dance performance. Then proceed to night market for 1hours
Noted: Visit the Angkor Night MarketThe first, best and currently the only true night market in Siem Reap. Located in the heart of town, the Angkor Night Market opens in the mid-afternoon and stays open until at least midnight. The Market harbors more than 100 shops and stalls offering souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, books, DVDs, electronics, jewelry, art and there’s even a travel agent, 3D movies...The shopping atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.
DAY 02: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat ( B L D )
After breakfast at hotel, Tour start visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom – Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas,Elephant Terrance and Terrance of the Leper King. After lunch, continue visit Grand temple - Angkor Wat,TaprohmTemple,SrahSrong and proceed to Pre Rub temples until sunset,Next visit Souvenir Shop. Dinner at local restaurant.
Note: During the visit of the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear a proper attire, covering shoulders and knees as this temple is still considered as a sacred site (no short, miniskirt or short trousers). Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower. It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days, four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar
DAY 03: Siem Reap ?B·L D?
After breakfast at hotel, Tour proceed to Tonle Sap Lake – the world second large lake, take boat ride along the river and can see the floating village life. After lunch, continues visit visitAngkor silk farm, which maintains a weaving project for young people from the region.Visit all the different stages of the process;from the mulberry tree growing to the final production of silk articles. Free leisure at local market.Than Visit Souvenir shop.Dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 04: Departure Siem Reap (D )
After breakfast at hotel, free leisure until time transfer to airport for departure flight and bringing with you sweet memories of an enjoyable holiday with us.
